with the form of the handle looking very much like a Shaker apple core spool and then this wonderful dense grid of sharp spikes

Two Women, Sensitive Pair of Pencil Signed Etchings, Early 20th Century, Framed as Found antique croquet I think its a prettyI found this pair of etchings, framed as found, in Concord, New Hampshire, but have not been able to determine the artist both are signed, it looks to me with a monogram, EFC or EFG?, but that and image searching has led me nowhere really. The one at left appears to be dated '09, which seems quite right, 1909. I really like them both, feeling more about the interior lives of these women than their likenesses, and for me the pairing is quite a good
